Driver Competence and Suitability:

Driver selection is based on strict criteria and all staff are CRB cleared to enhanced level. Employees are provided with regular training on all aspects of transport law and updated regularly with any changes to legislation. Work will always be scheduled to meet the legal requirements

Health & Safety

Lowes Coaches has a regularly updated risk assessment for transport. Drivers are issued with a handbook, containing pertinent information to carry out their duties both professionally & in line with company policy and procedures. We have a written health and safety policy, complying with HSE guidelines.

Copies of all company statements & policies are available on request.

Breakdown Contingency

Our modern fleet is maintained to the highest standards adhering to daily driver checks and in depth 6 weekly maintenance checks. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, 24-hour cover is provided.

Comfort Stops

Itineraries will be planned to provide ample comfort stops.

Safety Equipment

Coaches will be equipped with all required safety equipment, including fire extinguisher, window hammers, adequate safety exits and a first aid kit.
Seatbelts will be provided for all seats.

Licensing and Insurance

We will gladly provide details of our Operators Licence and a copy of all insurance certificates on request.
Maintaining “good repute” is a prerequisite to holding our PCV licence.
